Join us for a wonderful evening to raise funds for a very important cause.
Ticket price includes:
- 3 course dinner including cheese and sweet options from Nodo for dessert
- 4 hours of wine and beer with Mabel cocktail on arrival
- Special guest speakers, Dr Michaela Waak, Paediatric Neurointensivist at Queensland Children's Hospital; and Dr Ruth Knight, Senior Researcher at QUT's Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies
- Auction with amazing prizes from our very generous supporters (including five-star getaways, theme park tickets, theatre tickets, gourmet dinners, vouchers for luxury experiences and many more incredible prizes)
- Live music and art performances.
All proceeds will be used to raise awareness of pneumococcal disease and meningitis and to fund further research into early diagnostic tools.
6.30pm arrival for 7.00pm start.

Mooloolaba Triathlon - March 13th
UPDATE (31st March, 2022): Triathlon completed. Overall time of 3 hours 26 mins and just happy to have completed it. Felt Mabel with me every step of the way.
Thank you so much for the donations - an amazing total of $30,646!
UPDATE (7th March, 2022): We have now reached almost $24,000 thanks to the generosity of so many wonderful people.
This money will be provided directly to Precious Wings who support Queensland bereaved families; and to Meningitis Centre Australia who have already started sending out "Mabel Packs" with information for social workers in hospitals across the country.
Next steps will focus on Queensland parents, GPs and hospitals - much needed awareness of this devastating disease. The current situation is not good enough.

I am currently training for the Mooloolaba Triathlon on the 13th of March, 2022. Mabel would have turned one on March 1st.
Through my immense grief and pain, I have found that moving my body can help. But it has been difficult to find the motivation to get out of bed or leave the house. I needed to have a big goal, so decided on this triathlon. Doing this will not bring her back. But it is something. In a long line of things that I hope to do.

Thank you to 12RNDS Morningside and the wonderful Morningside community for a great day! Together with Poppy's Coffee (just around the corner), they raised $2,100 and lots of awareness for this very important cause.
